Remember that cute girl Dani I posted about a while back? The one with the cute freckles who was getting ready to go to Prom? Well she finally had her special night this last Saturday. I was in California the day prior & caught an early morning flight back to Utah. Literally went straight from the airport to meet with her. She looked like a dream. I felt like a proud mom when I went to take pictures with all the parents. It was so much fun to help her get ready! She is the sweetest, most adorable girl & I just adore her.

California dreamin,

If you don't know me already, you should know I love anything spontaneous. Especially if it involves some type of trip. So when my friend Shane asked if I wanted to go to California for the day this past Friday I gladly took the offer. It was so nice to feel the sun, sand, & wind. It made me really excited to move back to California next week. I guess I really am a California girl..just like Katy Perry sings. It was a great little day-trip. We mainly just took some footage for a fun little video coming soon.

Gaining another sister,

This last week my big brother Chad got engaged! His fiancée Anna had just gotten back from Hawaii the previous day & had no clue it was coming. He had a special night planned for their six-month anniversary & ended up proposing to her on the roof of the American Towers building up in Salt Lake. They are getting married this summer as well. Yes, that is two weddings for my family. Anna fits right in & even looks like part of the family. I couldn't be more excited. I snapped a few pictures of them & just had to share the good news.

I am going to miss this girl.

This last Saturday Marlee & I got to be a part of Emily Brown's big night. Her long awaited album release party for This Goes With Us. The lineup was great, the company was splendid, & the decorations were amazing (thanks to Emily). It was probably one of my favorite shows we have ever played. Jen Blosil won the crowd over with her powerhouse voice, and Emily was angelic up there. If you haven't already heard Emily's new album, listen. I promise you will not be disappointed. & yes, I have that much confidence in it.

Pretty little bride-to-be,

Recently, I have been so busy I haven't had any time to blog. As I have posted before, there are SO many weddings coming up this year whether for family, friends, etc. But my cousin Cortnee is getting married in three weeks! She basically was my partner in crime growing up, so the thought of her actually getting married is still hard for me to wrap my head around. I luckily got to be a part of the team to help her get ready for her bridals the other day & just couldn't resist posting these. The man taking her hand is one lucky fellow.
